This is a collection of photos from when I did the spring over axle lift on Heather's 1987 Jeep YJ. The
amount of lift gained when doing the spring over with stock springs is about 5-1/2" to 6". This much lift on
such a short wheelbase vehicle required the use of a slip yoke eliminator and a C.V. style driveshaft. I
contacted Tom Woods Driveshaft and ordered one of their slip yoke eliminator / driveshaft kits. Their staff was
very helpful and they had the kit out in about a week. I chose to leave the transfer case in the vehicle to do
the install, and it was a fairly straight forward install.
